JAMMU, Dec 16: The 29th Inter-District Snooker and Billiards Championship progressed at the Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today, with the first round of the Sub-Junior Snooker category being successfully conducted.
The matches were held under the strict supervision of the Jammu & Kashmir Billiards & Snooker Association (JKBSA) and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Billiards & Snooker Federation of India (BSFI).
The markers for today’s matches included Rakesh Sharma, Ravees Ahmed, Manohar Nath, and Ashok Kumar, ensuring fair play and smooth conduct of all games. Participants displayed remarkable focus and sportsmanship, reflecting the growing talent in the region.
Gurjeev Singh, the organizing secretary of the tournament, informed that Junior Snooker matches will begin tomorrow, while the last date for senior entries is 17 December 2025, and no entries will be accepted beyond this date.
