JAMMU, Dec 15: The 25th J&K UT Kho-Kho Championship concluded with a thrilling finale here today, where the Jammu boys and girls teams emerged victorious, defeating Budgam in both categories to lift the coveted trophies. The grand closing ceremony was organized by the J&K Kho-Kho Association (JKKKA) and graced by Shiv Kumar Sharma, DIG J&K Police, as chief guest.
The chief guest lauded the players’ dedication and encouraged them to pursue sports with passion for holistic development. The ceremony saw the presence of dignitaries including Dr Baljinder Kour (President, JKKKA), Manmeet Singh (Chairman, RCE), Harpreet Singh Anand (Chairman, JSS), SBS Tirthi (Founder, JKKKA), Harvinder Kour (ZPEO Jammu), Laxman Das Sharma, Ishan Gupta, Dr Ashwani Manhas, Iqbal Singh (DSO Jammu) and Himanshu.
Key organizers included Amrinder Pal Singh (Secretary, JKKKA), Pankaj Malhotra and Tarmeet Raina (Joint Secretary & Organising Secretary), whose efforts made the championship a grand success.
