POONCH, Feb 9: The 22nd UT Senior Kabaddi Championship 2025, organized by Amateur Kabaddi Association J&K under the J&K Sports Council, concluded on a high note with Team Army emerging as the winner in the men’s category and Team Jammu lifting the trophy in the women’s category.
The event witnessed intense competition among 22 teams-13 in the men’s category and 9 in the women’s category. In the final matches Brigade Commander 323 Mountain Ring Brigade was the chief guest, while Iftikhar Ahmed Choudhary, Superintendent of Police, was the guest of honour. Other dignitaries included Colonel Sushil Chauhan, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta and several notable local figures.
In the men’s final, Team Army triumphed over J&K Police, while Team Jammu defeated Team Kathua in the women’s final.
The organizing committee ensured smooth operations throughout the event, providing necessary arrangements for players, coaches and officials.
