JAMMU, June 16: The 1st Tawi Sports J&K Non-Medallist Badminton Tournament concluded today with enthusiastic participation from around 290 players. The event was organized by King Badminton Club in collaboration with Jammu City Badminton Club.
In the Men’s Singles final, Raghav Magotra from Samba emerged victorious after a thrilling match against Kunal Thakur, with a scoreline of 15-21, 21-18, 21-19.
The tournament witnessed the presence of dignitaries including Dr. O.D. Sharma, Vice President, Badminton Association of India, Gulzar Singh, former IGP, and Balbir Singh Jamwal, General Secretary, BAJK, along with members of Team JMBC and other representatives. The tournament successfully promoted non-medallist talent across J&K.
