1st Online Karate Kata C’ship held

JAMMU, Sept 1: Shito Ryu Karate School of Jammu and Kashmir organized 1st Online Karate Kata Championship, in which students from various schools participated.
The championship was conducted under the supervision of Sensei Amit Singh, Chief Coach and Examiner SKSJK and National Referee KAI, Technical Instructor Vikas Dhar National Coach KAI and SKSJK official Ayushman Dass.
Abhimanyu Singh Charak National Judge KAI and Surjeet Dogra National Judge KAI were the judges during the competition.
In the competition, the gold medals were bagged by Kartavya Verma of St Peter School, Samya Gupta of St Peter School, Shreeya Labroo of SOS School, Anuj Jandla of APS Kaluchack, Gaurav Kumar of APS Kaluchack, Shagun Chib of Women College Parade and Mohit Singh of Private Club.
The silver medals were clinched by Prikshit Raj Sharma of APS Kaluchack, Mehek Saini of APS Kaluchack, Takshm Gupta of St Peter School, Abhigya Pathania of Convent School, Unique Khangwal of DBN Amarvilla and Tanmay Gupta of Private Club.
Aayushi Khajuria of JKM School, Himanish Choudhary of APS Kaluchack and Rishav Makroo of Luthra School Talab Tillo bagged bronze medals.
