JAMMU, Dec 22: In the ongoing 19th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament, organized by All J&K Sports & Cultural Welfare Association, two matches were played at Mini Stadium, Parade Ground, here today.
In the first match, Samba FC defeated Winter Capital by 2-0, with goals from Nitish (34th min) and Gagandeep Singh (42nd min). Yellow cards were shown to Rahul (45th min) and Nitish (52nd min) of Samba FC. The match was officiated by Satnam Singh, Bilal Ahmed, Kartik Sharma, and Abhishek Chandan.
The second match saw Young Hero’s FC narrowly beat Param FC by 1-0, courtesy of Varun’s goal. Shivam Mehra and Trywell of Param FC received yellow cards in the 35th minute. Referees for the match were Rahul Sharma, Vijay Kumar, Aman Sudan, and Dheeraj Menia.
Tomorrow’s fixtures feature Pegasus FC vs Hero FC at 12:00 PM and Vijay Club vs Nagrota FC at 1:30 PM.
