SRINAGAR, Sept 10: The 17th UT Level Jammu & Kashmir Rugby 7s Championship 2025 concluded with great enthusiasm at the Synthetic Rugby Field, Polo Ground, here today. The two-day event was organized by J&K Rugby Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council, drawing participation from around 40 teams across the Union Territory.
The tournament witnessed high-energy performances, with players showcasing excellent teamwork, speed and skill. The competition featured two main categories: Senior Men and Under Boys.
In the Senior Men’s category, Srinagar bagged Gold, while Bandipora claimed Silver. Kupwara and Baramulla secured Bronze medals for their commendable efforts. In the Under Boys category, Bandipora stood out with a Gold medal performance, followed by Kupwara with Silver and Baramulla and Poonch jointly taking home the Bronze.
At the closing ceremony, Mohd Shafi Dar, Secretary J&K Rugby Association, distributed trophies and medals.
