15th District Jammu Rope Skipping C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Oct 16: The 15th District Jammu Rope Skipping Championship 2025 concluded with energy and enthusiasm at JP World School, Jammu. Organized by the Rope Skipping Association of J&K, the two-day event saw participation from over 270 athletes representing 25 top schools across District Jammu.
Vishwa Bharti School, Jammu emerged as the Overall Champion, showcasing outstanding performances. International Delhi Public School, Akhnoor secured the 1st Runner-Up position, while Carmel Convent School, Jammu was declared the 2nd Runner-Up.
The event was conducted under the leadership of KC S Mehta, Working President; Aparna Kohli, Principal, JP World School; Tarsem Sharma, Founder & CEO; and Danish Sharma, Technical Chairman – all from Rope Skipping J&K.
Chief guest, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, praised the participants’ discipline and energy. Guests of honour included Neetu Bali, Founder & CEO, Sunder Gems & Jewels; and Panna Manhas Chaudhary, Chairperson, JP World School. Special guests were Varinder Mahajan (Tony), President, All India Young Blood Organization; Raj Rattan Raina, Secretary, Rashtriya Suraksha Jagran (FANS); Priya Singh, Principal, DBN Mubarak Mandi; Ruchita Bakshi, State Project Manager, Himayat (JKRLM, J&K) and Baldeep Kour, Mrs. India Dynamic Crown.
