JAMMU, Dec 1: A group of 15 talented swimmers from Jodhamal Public School has represented Jammu & Kashmir at the 68th National School Games (NSG) Swimming Competition held in Rajkot, Gujarat, from November 24 to 30. Their selection for this prestigious competition highlights the swimmers’ dedication and outstanding skills in the sport.
The swimmers include Pragnay Sharma, Vihaan Yadav, Vihan Goel, Mohd Ibrahim, Riaan Mahajan, Kartikaye Choudhary, Priyum Jain, Aditya Pratap, Hitanshi Yadav, Anahita, Diya Gupta, Avnee Anthmea, Adaliya Narang, Tanisha Jaggi, and Priyal Kapoor. The team was rigorously trained at the school’s Aqua Cube Swimming Pool under the guidance of Coach Pooja Bassan, assisted by Malkeet Kour, Rajan, and Romesh.
Nandan Kuthiala, Trustee of Jodhamal Public School, expressed immense pride in the swimmers, stating, “We are honored to see our students competing at such a high level. Their hard work and dedication, supported by their coaches and the school, have paved the way for this achievement.”
Principal Girish Kumar and Vice Principal Amita Arora also praised the students for their discipline and determination. The swimmers are now set to represent J&K on a national stage, with hopes of excelling and making the region proud at the competition.
