JAMMU, Oct 26: Performing brilliantly in the Inter-District Swimming Competition, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Heritage School, 12 swimmers of KC Public School got the selectors nod to represent the State in the National Swimming Meet to be held at Kolkata from November 4 to November 8, 2015.
The swimmers have been selected in three different categories of Under-14, Under-17 and Under-18.
The selected swimmers included Akshita Mengi, Yakshita Tandon, Abhinav Gupta, Garima Sharma, Sanchit Singh, Aadhar Koul, Anika Gandotra, Samya Vaid, Divya Khajuria, Pratul Singh, Karan Dhar and Mehrin Kalsi.
The Principal of the School, Amarendra Kumar Mishra lauded the efforts of the students and their coaches Babita and Thakur Singh for this achievement.
