12 matches played on Day-1 of South Kashmir Sports Festival

ANANTNAG, Dec 15: On the opening day of South Kashmir Sports Festival, 12 matches were played at Degree College (boys) ground Anantnag in presence of Nodal Officer of the event, Peer Muzafer Hussain DySP DAR Anantnag.
All the matches were played with sporting spirit and the teams displayed extraordinary skill to vie for the top honours.
In cricket, South Kashmir defeated DHK, Furrah got better of Gopalpora, GHSS Kadipora outplayed GHSS Anantnag and GHSS Dailgam trounced GHSS Nanil in Pool A, while in Pool (B) GHSS Mattan drubbed GHS Karibal and ZCC beat Sarnal.
