JAMMU, Nov 5: A 22-year-old youth died in a freak accident after being stuck in a factory at Gangyal area here today, officials said.
Vikas Kumar son of Veer Singh of Chhattisgarh at present Gangyal got his right hand crushed under a machine accidentally at Jeep Pure factory in Gangyal today, they said.
He was accordingly taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him as dead on arrival, officials said.
While the body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination, police have launched further investigation into the matter.
