JAMMU, Mar 6: A youth was today attacked and left injured by two other youths over some old enmity in Bishnah area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a youth identified as Ashwani Gupta son of Kuldeep Chander Gupta, a resident of Ward No 8, Bishnah, was intercepted and then beaten severely by two other youths at Bus Stand Bishnah. The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment.
On the complaint of the victim, a case in this was registered at police station Bishnah and one of the accused identified as Baljeet Singh alias Bali son of Sukhdev Singh, a resident of Bishnah, was arrested while the manhunt was on to nab the other accused, who was identified as Bahadur Sharma son of Nobet Sharma, a resident of Bishnah.
