JAMMU, Jan 6: In a suspected case of honey-trap, police have arrested a youth from Arnia, a town falling along the International Border, in this district for sharing information with a Pakistani girl about some security installations on her mobile telephone.
“The case is under investigation,” SSP Jammu Tejender Singh told the Excelsior.
Reports said police have arrested Rakesh Kumar, a local of Arnia for sharing information about security installations of the area after falling in trap with a Pakistani girl, suspected to have links with Pakistan army or Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
The information had been shared some time back but it came to light recently.
Police was investigating the case but preliminary information revealed that youth had fallen into the honey-trap. The girl who was chatting with Rakesh Kumar on Facebook could be impersonating and might well be an agent of Pakistan army or the ISI.
However, details will emerge during the investigations, sources said, adding that a case has been registered at Arnia police station.
