KATHUA, Mar 28: A 21-year-old youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances here, police said today.
They said Keshav Kumar (21) son of Romesh Chander of Fattu Chack, Tehsil Marheen in Hiranagar, who was on way to Mata Bala Sundri Shrine in Billawar along with his friends, fell unconscious on Monday evening.
“He was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him as dead on arrival,” police said.

The post-mortem of the deceased youth was conducted today and the body handed over to its legal heirs.
Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased youth assembled on the National Highway opposite Government Medical College Kathua and resorted to sloganeering, demanding enquiry into the mysterious death of the youth.
The agitating family members continued their protest for around half-an-hour during the post-mortem followed by which they were told by the police that inquest proceedings have already been started to ascertain the reason of the death.
They called off their protest after police assured them that they will take action after seeing the post-mortem report.
