KATRA, Feb 19: A youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances near Railway Line at Kadmal, under the jurisdiction of Katra Police Station.
The deceased was identified as Akarshit Malhotra, age 22 years, son of Suraj Ram, resident of Aghar Jitto, tehsil Katra in district Reasi. He was found dead with frothing at the mouth and cause of death is yet to be ascertained, said SHO Katra, Inspector Nishant Gupta.
After post mortem in CHC Katra and other legal formalities, the dead body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. A case has registered in this connection and further investigation was going on.
