UDHAMPUR, Sept 11: A youth died after falling from a hillock while cutting grass as fodder for domestic animals, here today in tehsil Ramnagar.
According to the police report, Altaf Hussain (20), son of Sau Gujjar, resident of village Joffer, Tehsil Ramagar, slipped from the slope and fell into a gorge near his house. Locals rushed him to the Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Later, the body was sent for postmortem to the police. After completion of all the formalities as well the postmortem, the body was handed over to the family members for the last rites. Ramnagar Police has initiated inquest proceedings U/S 174 CrPC.
