AKHNOOR, June 27: Lok Sabha Youth Congress Committee (LYC) and Block Youth Congress Committee, Akhnoor, today organized a mega 1-day convention under the leadership of LYC president, Satish Sharma, here today.
The objective of the convention was to mobilize youth to strengthen the Congress Party base at the grass root level as also to highlight the party’s performance in the State.
Speaking on the occasion, Satish Sharma said that youth is the real strength of India and nursery of Congress Party, which will take command of the country in future. He said that Congress Party will make the role of the youth more vibrant in order to nurture them for taking the future challenges of the country.
Sharma asked the youth to make strenuous efforts to strengthen the party at the grass root level and said that youth will be assigned special role in the coming elections and they well get their due share. He asked them to popularize the programmes and policies of the party among the people, especially in youth.
