KATRA, Aug 25: Mystery shrouded death of a young man from Garwal in Uttarakhand, who was found dead on rooftop of an under construction building in the main bazaar of Katra, here today.
The deceased was identified as Manjeet Singh (35), son of Anant Singh of Garwal. His body was found lying on the rooftop of an under construction building of Tourism Department, opposite to Maduban Restaurant.
According to Police, the deceased seems to have committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance as there was no visible injury mark on the body.
Police shifted the body to CHC Katra for postmortem and registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
