UDHAMPUR, Feb 14: A young housewife, missing for the last two days, was today found hanging from a tree near the house of her in laws at Laddan, Power House Udhampur.
According to the reports, the deceased namely Nisha Devi (24), wife of Shakti Verma, resident of village Laddan Power House Udhampur, was missing for the last two days. This morning, she was found hanging from a tree near her house under suspicious circumstances.
The body was spotted by some locals, who informed the Police. Later, Police shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
After completion of all the legal formalities and postmortem, the body was handed over to the family members for last rites while a case under Section 174 CrPC has been registered in this connection for further investigations.
