JAMMU, Mar 14: The president of Lok Sabha of Indian Youth Congress (YC), Pankaj Basotra conducted two days tour of Reasi district, where he met the Panchayat and booth level workers of the Youth Congress and addressed the workers at Chahru and Jamaslan Panchayats of Gulab Garh Assembly constituency.
He asked the State as well Central Government to recruit the local youth through special recruitment drive in the area as the youth of this area are also affected by the militancy and have no source of income because of the poor response from the Government towards the development of the area.
Basotra also asked the youth to take the benefits of the schemes like MGNREGA, RGGVY, PMGSY and IAY launched by the Central Government for the welfare of the poor and down trodden people.
He asked the party leaders and workers to face the challenges posed by others and work for strengthening the party at grass root level.
