Yash Paul elected Ranbir Press employees’ president

JAMMU, Jan 15:  Yash Paul Magotra has been elected president of Ranbir Government Press Employees Association.
In annual election of the Association, he defeated the outgoing president Parshotam Singh Chib by an impressive margin of 62 votes. Mr Magotra was polled 114 votes while Mr Chib could secure only 52 votes.
Rajesh Singh, Mohd Tahir, Ram Krishan and Jasbinder Kumar were elected unopposed for the post of vice-president, joint secretary, publicity secretary and cashier, respectively.
In a triangular contest for the post of general secretary, Rajinder Kumar was declared elected. He secured 72 votes while his opponent Sanjay Koul and Sham Lal were polled 56 and 43 votes, respectively.
