NEW DELHI : Chinese handset-maker Xiaomi will launch the ‘Mi4’ in India on January 28.
There was no information on the price of the device. However, industry sources said that the phone might be priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000.
Xiaomi has so far offered all its phones on Flipkart through Tuesday flash sales.
The ‘Mi4’ features a five-inch full-HD screen with 1080×1920 pixels, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB RAM. The phone has a three-megapixel rear camera and an eight-megapixel front-facing camera. It also packs a 3080mAh Li-ion battery. The sources said India was one of the largest markets for Xiaomi outside China.
The company has so far, launched three devices in India — Mi3, Redmi 1S and Redmi Note.
Its cumulative sales is believed to have crossed a million units since the first launch in July last year. (AGENCIES)
