RAJOURI, Apr 11: An eight Day workshop on C- programming, organized by Department of Mathematical Sciences, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri, concluded today.
Around 100 students and scholars of various departments of the University participated in the workshop.
In the valedictory function, Vice-Chancellor of BGSBU, Prof Javed Musarrat, encouraged the department for holding such workshops and conferences in future too. He emphasized on the fact that new tools must be explored to understand the Mathematics and also to have a command in the Research area.
Speaking on the occasion, Dean academic affairs, Prof Koul highlighted the importance of the Mathematics Department in a University system and appreciated the department for organizing such activities every year.
Prof Asghar, Dean School of Mathematical Sciences and Engineering, highlighted the importance of “C” language in the kingdom of computer languages.
Faculty of the Department, Dr Javed Iqbal, Dr Pawan, Sharuti and Tariq Mehmood played vital role in the conduct of the workshop. Tanveer Lone, Arif, Naveen and others were also present on the occasion.
The workshop ended with the distribution of certificates and mementoes to the participants and the Resource persons.
