JAMMU, Mar 17: A woman died on spot while she was crossing the road after being hit by a bus at Digana falling under the jurisdiction of Satwari Police Station, today.
According to the police, a women namely Har Kumari age between 40-45 years, wife of Channa resident of MP at present Jeevan Nagar died on spot while being hit by a bus number JK02X-1631 while crossing the road. The bus was coming from Kathua to Jammu. Police has registered a case at Satwari Police Station under relevant sections.
Meanwhile, police has arrested the driver of bus namely Gurjeet Singh son of Darshan Singh resident of Digana. The body of the victim was has handed over to family members after conducting post mortem at Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH).
