RAMBAN, Aug 20: A woman died due to fall from a hill into a gorge in village Mohu area of Tehsil Kheri, this morning.
As per police sources, a woman identified as Zeba Begum (50), wife of Ghulam Mohd Naik, a resident of Mohu was collecting grass for cattle, when she accidentally fell from a hill into a gorge and died on the spot.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals retrieved the body from the gorge.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Banihal police has taken cognizance in this regards.
