JAMMU, May 19: A woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in tehsil Akhnoor.
As per reports, Kulwant Kour, wife of Bala Singh of tehsil Akhnoor, consumed some poisonous stuff at her residence.
Finding her unconscious, family members shifted her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she failed to respond to the treatment and died.
A case has been registered and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
