Will stop ration supply if demands not fulfilled: Dealers

JAMMU, Dec 15: All J&K Fair Price Shop Ration Dealers Association here today held a meeting under the chairmanship of Milkhi Ram, Association president and discussed their issues.
The ration dealers demanded minimum monthly salaries of Rs. 30,000 for providing their services to the Rationees.
They also demanded the release of all the pending dues on account of commission, freight charges, dues on account of pending carriage of sugar supplied to the rationees, dues on account of mid-day meal expenses, relief material provided to the affected families due floods and other natural disasters during the year 2014.
A deputation of the Association today met Chief Accounts Officer and Deputy Director FCS & CA Department and said if their demands are not conceded within 15 days then they will stop the supply of ration.
Krishan Lal, Association General Secretary; Anayatullah, Vice President; Ajay Gupta, District President and others were also present in the deputation.
