JAMMU, Nov 19: NSS unit of KCS College of Education (Women) started its week long celebrations of National Integration Week, (NIW) today.
On the occasion, the NSS Programme Officer, Ruchika Chib invited the Principal Prof O P Sharma for inaugural ceremony. While inaugurating the National Integration Week, the Principal gave the detailed description of the importance of the celebration of the National Intregraton Week and said the anti-national and some other forces are raising their heads to destroy the unity and integrity of the country, therefore he asked the students to remain vigilant and cautious so that nobody can harm the National unity and solidarity of our great Nation.
After the inaugural session the symposium was organized and the students with the overwhelming majority put forward their views on the topic.
President Kalamkari Centre Society (Women) U S Chaudhari and chairperson of the college, Purnima Chaudhari while witnessing the programme appreciated the organizers of the programme.
Finally, vote of thanks was presented by Sneh Khanna, Senior Lect. of the college.
