JAMMU, Aug 16: Wanah Organic Food Products Limited was launched, here to feed the domestic consumers with healthy organic food products through their e-commerce website.
Former Minister and MLA Inderwal, GM Saroori was the chief guest on the occasion, while guests of honors were noted entrepreneur Tahir Rufayee, State President NSUI Raqeeq Khan and President DCC Kishtwar Mohinder Parihar.
In his address, Saroori said investing in the production of organic food at the time when the rampant use of fertilizers have taken a toll on the health of people, will go a long way in going back to the old tradition of using organic foods and producing the same in the local market.
Saroori hoped and wished that more such initiatives are taken which can boost the rural economy and at the same time provide good health. He said the popularity of organic food will make the farmers opt for organic farming and avoid the use of toxic fertilizers that will be good for health as well as to our economy.
The launch of the e-commerce website of “Wanahorganic.com” was also done in the event.
While speaking on the occasion, Randeep Bhandari, the founder of Wanah Limited said that it was his dream project and after working hard for 2 years, he was able to launch the company and e-commerce website.
Among others present were Sushma Parihar, Babi Bhandari, Aman Thakur, Vikram Singh Bhandari, Anuj Manhas, Jatin Manhas, Dr Mubashir Mir, Dr Keerti and Nikhil Sharma.
