Vrindavan: Preparations on for grand Janmashtami celebrations at Banke Bihari Temple

VRINDAVAN, Sep 1: Preparations are in the final stages at the revered Banke Bihari Temple for the annual Janmashtami celebrations. The entire temple complex is being lavishly decorated with colorful flowers and attractive lights.

The High Power Management Committee of Thakur Banke Bihari Temple has made extensive arrangements for the convenience and easy darshan of devotees visiting on Janmashtami.

To ensure smooth darshan arrangements, separate entry and exit routes have been established for devotees.

The Mangala Aarti, which is held once a year, will be held on the nights of September 4-5. This year, the number of devotees attending the Banke Bihari temple's famous Mangala Aarti, will be limited.

This Mangala Aarti will be held at 1:55 a.m. on the nights of September 4 and 5.

Meanwhile, on the morning of September 5, a grand celebration of the traditional Dadhikanda (Nandotsav) will be held at the temple.

Darshan of Mangala Aarti will be possible from home via live streaming.

Committee Chairman, former Justice Ashok Kumar, stated that preparations for the Janmotsav are being completed rapidly, and the entire temple complex will be filled with the fragrance of colorful flowers.

"Final touches are being put in place for the temple's Janmotsav. Separate entry and exit arrangements have been made to facilitate easy darshan for devotees. Devotees who cannot come will be able to view Thakur Banke Bihari Ji from home via live streaming of the Mangala Aarti," Ashok Kumar, Chairman (High Power Management Committee) said.
