BHADERWAH, Sept 2: All J&K Senior Citizen Welfare Council (SCWC) has appealed to the voters to choose those candidates who will honestly address local issues.
In a press conference here today, District SCWC president, Nazir Khan discussed several pressing issues vital to region’s progress and well-being.
He raised Council’s primary demands like district status for Bhaderwah, establishment of a full-fledged university in the region and to start the work on Chattergala tunnel.
Khan explained how the district status would enhance administrative efficiency and boost development in the area.
He claimed that a full-fledged university would not only improve educational opportunities but will also stimulate economic growth and attract talent to Bhaderwah.
“The Chattergala tunnel, a crucial infrastructural project, is expected to significantly improve connectivity and accessibility, fostering greater regional integration,” he maintained.
Speaking on the occasion Riaz Ahmed Khan said that broad community support was important for fulfilling these demands and stressed on the need for electing leaders who are not only aware of these issues but are also proactive in addressing them.
Khan reiterated the importance of informed voting and urged the public to prioritize development of Bhaderwah by supporting candidates who align with the demands of Council.
