Awantipora, Mar 30: The final match of Volleyball tournament was played between Higher Secondary School Noorpora and Higher Secondary School Pampore at Training Center Lethpora, Awantipora.
The tournament was inaugurated by ADGP Trainings on 26th of instant month under Civic Action Programme (CAP). Higher Secondary School Noorpora won the tournament. Dy. Chief Education Officer Fayaz Ahmad Shiekh was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed the track suits among the players. Both the winner and runner up teams were given trophies and cash rewards of Rs.10, 000 and Rs.5, 000 respectively.
Mushtaq Ahmad Shah District Youth Service and Sports,Mehboob Ahmad Principal CTC Lethpora and locals were also present on the occasion.
Principal CTC Lethpora in his address highlighted the aim of organizing such programmes by J&K Police, he emphasized the need of organizing more and more sports activities for the youth.
