JAMMU, Nov 4: Inter Collegiate Volleyball Tournament for women, being organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu commenced at varsity’s volleyball court.
In the first match of the day, GDC Akhnoor beat GDC Nowshera by 2-0 sets (25-11 and 25-10), whereas in the second match, GDC Samba defeated GDC Khour by 2-0 sets (25-13 and 25-15) and in the third match, GCW Parade beats GDC Udhampur by 2-0 sets (25-19 and 25-17).
In the fourth and last match of the day, GCW Parade beats GDC Poonch by 2-0 sets (25-13 and 25-11).
The matches were officiated by a technical panel of VFI Qualified officials including Amit Sharma, Mulkh Raj, Manik Nargotra and Shubham Sharma.
The Tournament was organized under the supervision of Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
