JAMMU, Feb 2 : Vodafone India, has reaffirmed its retail leadership in the J&K circle with the opening of its new Vodafone Mini Store (VMS) at Trikuta Nagar. Vodafone has now rolled out 5 new VMSes in the State in the month of January this year. Vodafone now has 34 VMS in Jammu and 30 VMS in Srinagar along with 2 Vodafone Stores (one in Jammu and one in Srinagar) which provide industry-best services to its customers.
“As a people-centric organization, Vodafone strives hard to provide best in its class and unmatched experience to its customers. To ensure maximum reach and ease of access for our customers in J&K, we have worked hard to continuously increase our retail presence in the circle. Our growing retail presence helped us to offer unparalleled service to our ever-growing subscriber-base in the circle,” said Bjas Murthy, Operations Director – North, Vodafone India.
He said with 66 touch-points in the J&K Circle, Vodafone has the largest retail network in the State. It has more customer touch-points than all the touch-points of all other telecom service providers put together. This retail growth compliments Vodafone’s growing subscriber base, he added.
In December last year, Vodafone crossed the one million subscriber milestone in the State. In terms of coverage network, Vodafone now covers 65% of the population in J&K. This has helped reaffirm its position as the fastest growing operator in the State, he said.
With continued expansion of its retail footprint, ever-increasing subscriber-base and efforts to provide best quality network by investing in roll out of new sites, Vodafone looks well set on the path to rapid growth in the State and consolidate its position as the ‘preferred’ and most customer-friendly telecom service provider in the State.
