JAMMU, June 9: Former outstanding judoka of Jammu and Kashmir, Vikas Gupta, has been elected as Joint Secretary of the Judo Federation of India in the recently concluded federation elections held at Ghaziabad.
According to information received, Vikas Gupta secured the highest number of votes across all categories in the Judo Federation of India Elections 2026, reflecting the confidence reposed in his leadership and contribution to the sport.
Expressing gratitude after his election, Gupta thanked LG Manoj Sinha for his valuable support towards the promotion and development of sports in Jammu and Kashmir. He also acknowledged the efforts of the sports fraternity and pledged to work for the further growth of judo across the country.
