JAMMU, Sept 21: Vigilance Organization today produced chargesheet against Revenue officers and beneficiaries, for making illegal entries in the record related to State land in Kalakote.
The case FIR No. 11/2011 u/s 5(1)(d) r/w 5(2) J&K Prevention of Corruption Act, 2006Bk and Section 467, 468, 471,120-B RPC was registered on 02.07.2011, on the basis of verification into illegal entries/tempering of records related to State land by the Revenue officers/officials at village Dali tehsil Kalakote district Rajouri.
The allegations levelled against the accused namely Babu Ram (then Girdawar Circle Sair, now retired), Mohd. Shafi Magrey (then Girdawar Circle Sair now retired), Mohd. Abdullah, then Girdawar Circle Sair(now expired), Mohd. Khalil (then Patwari Dali) and the beneficiaries namely Tirath Ram (Now expired), Rattan Lal, (beneficiary), Gaurav Sharma (beneficiary) and Satya Devi (beneficiary) were prima facie established. The accused public servants conferred undue benefit to the accused beneficiaries and made illegal/fraudulent Girdawari/entries related to State land situated at village Dali tehsil Kalakote district Rajouri.
After obtaining necessary sanction from the competent authority, the case was processed and challan was produced against the accused Revenue officers and beneficiaries today before the Anti-Corruption Court, Rajouri.
Next date of hearing has been fixed for 09.10.2017.
