JAMMU, Sept 21: To celebrate birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh, Vidya Peeth Public Higher Secondary School, Chogan Slathia, Jammu organized various competitions in its School premises, here.
The competitions included Rakhi Making, Greeting Card Making, Salad Decoration, Flower arrangement, Rangoli and Waste Material Decoration.
The chief guest of the function, Raj Bharti and Principal of the School, Vipin Kumar Sharma gave tribute to Maharaja Hari Singh and declared the winners.
Shivam Sharma, Diya Abro and Tejaswani Khajuria claimed first, second and third position respectively in Rakhi Making, while Sneha Rathore, Priya and Ayushi Puri bagged first three positions in Greeting Card Making Competition respectively.
Vanshika Sajgotra bagged first place in Waste Material Decoration, while the second and third spot in this event was clinched by Shagun Gupta and Ayush Mahajan.
First three positions in Rangoli Competition went to Deepika, Sonali and Aman respectively, while the positions in Salad Making Competition went to Sakshi Dhar, Chamandeep Kour and Nipun Verma and in Flower Arrangement Competition, Madhav Mahajan, Amit Gupta and Ashish Kohli claimed first three positions respectively.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Sucheta, Kiran, Sandeep, Anant, Anita, Sunitm Deepak, Anshul, Sushma, Veena, Suman, Maju, Baldeep, Manisha, Anuradha, Asha, Kitika, Vandana, Santosh, Deepika, Sangeeta, Sham Lal Sharma, A S Dutta, Surinder, Ashwani, Darshna, Rameshwari, and Vijay.
