JAMMU, June 11: Police arrested a vehicle lifter and recovered stolen scooty from his possession.
As per police sources, yesterday, a complaint was lodged by Vishal Bhardwaj,, son of Suresh Kumar of Dogra Hall with Police Station Pacca Danga stating that some unknown person(s) has stolen his scooty.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 96/19 under Section 379 RPC was registered at Police Station Pacca Danga and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Pacca Danga Police Station rounded up several suspects and finally arrested the thief along with stolen scooty.
The arrested person has been identified as Himanshu, son of late Anthony Gill, a resident of Rehari.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
