Urs of Baba Siddiq Shah concludes

POONCH, July 7: The annual two-day Urs of Hazrat Syed Baba Siddiq Shah (RH), held at the revered shrine in Gantar, Sawjian, in Mandi tehsil, concluded with deep religious devotion and spiritual fervour.

Thousands of devotees and pilgrims from Poonch, Rajouri and other parts of Jammu and Kashmir attended the Urs to pay their respects. Devotees offered Fateha, presented ceremonial chadars, and laid floral tributes at the shrine, seeking blessings and spiritual guidance.

The two-day event featured various religious programmes, including recitation of the Holy Quran, Zikr-o-Azkaar, Naat and Manqabat recitals and collective prayers. On the concluding day, special prayers were offered for peace, prosperity, communal harmony, the well-being of the nation, and the unity and welfare of the Muslim Ummah.
