19th Nat’l Rollball C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Feb 16: Uttar Pradesh men team and Rajasthan women team emerged Champions of the 19th Senior National Rollball Championship-2023, organized at MA Stadium, here.
Moreover, J&K women’s team and Maharashtra women team jointly shared third place during the championship which concluded today.
On the closing ceremony, Pankaj Kumar Sharma-KAS, Excise Commissioner J&K was the chief guest who distributed the medals and trophies to the winner and runner-up teams, while Latika Sharma (BJP National Treasurer Mahila Morcha), Colonel Abhayraj Galande Commanding Officer, 7th Jammu and Kashmir Rifles, Abdul Jabbar (Dy. Director J&K Tourism Department), Sheikh Reyaz Ahmed, Administrative Officer J&K Sports Council, Ashok Singh Divisional Sports Officer, Pramod Kapahi, Ajay Gupta, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti Department and Chetan Bhandwalkar, Secretary General Roll-ball Federation of India were the guests of honour.
Finals results in women category, Maharashtra stood second runner-up, Jammu & Kashmir remained first runner-up, Uttar Pradesh stood runner-up and Rajasthan emerged winners.
In the men’s section, Gujarat-2nd runner-up, Jharkhand-1st runner-up, Maharashtra-runner up and Uttar Pradesh remained winners of the Championship.
