Unprecedented development going on in J&K : Kavinder

JAMMU, Dec 21: Kavinder Gupta, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister has asserted that people are witnessing unprecedented development in every nook and corner of the Union Territory today, adding that BJP stands fully committed to fulfil the pressing demands of the people at the earliest.
Addressing a function at Upper Belicharana, Ward No: 6 Cantonment Area here, today he said “Whenever a demand is brought to our notice by the people or we notice that there is any urgent requirement in any area, the party leaders and workers take immediate initiatives to get the demand fulfilled and grievance addressed in the least possible time”.
The former Deputy Chief Minister kick-started the work of laying water supply pipeline in Ward No: 6 Cantonment Area at Upper Belicharana during the function. This development work was commenced in the presence of senior BJP leader, Vinay Gupta; Raj Kumar Chairman Health and Sanitation Committee JMC; Narender Gupta; Bharat Bhushan vice chairman Cantonment Board; Vijay Dogra, Suraj Raina, Dalair Singh, Sanju Bahu, Ravi Sharma, Sushila Sharma, Surinder Sharma and Ranjeet Singh besides many party activists and other local residents of the area.
While addressing the gathering, the senior BJP leader stated that new habitations have come up in the area during the past few years that had resulted in shortage of drinking water supply in the area. He said that the people had highlighted their demand for adequate water supply in the area and responding to it the work has been started in the shortest possible time.
He said that after the completion of the development work, the pressing demand will get fulfilled very soon.
Kavinder specially appreciated Vinay Gupta, Seh Prabhari BJP Jammu North and Raj Kumar Chairman Health & Sanitation Committee for their relentless and dedicated efforts for spurring developmental works to ensure ease of living for the people of different wards in the district.
