Unclaimed phone set returned to owner

KATRA, Oct 13: A mobile phone set , model Samsung A-8 having cost of Rs 24500, lost by a pilgrim at Banganga, was returned to him by the Police.
The phone was found by Police Party of PP Banganga during patrolling at Bathing Ghat Banganga. With the help of contact names saves in the mobile set, Police established contact with its owner Mandeep Singh of Karopa, District Rohtak in Haryana, who stated that he had reached his native place but would depute someone for collection of the mobile.
On this, his relative namely Ravinder Singh, serving in Army as Havaldar at Bari Brahmna, appeared before Police Post Banganga and reported about the missing of mobile phone of his relative Mandeep Singh. Accordingly the mobile was handed over to him by Police at Police Post Banganga after proper clarification.
