Udhampur people given relief under intervention of Chief Justice

UDHAMPUR, Sept 26: A large number of people afflicted with loss and misery due to the havoc wreaked by the heavy rains in the first week of September 2014 which triggered landslides and flash floods at many places in district Udhampur, received relief material in the shape of articles of daily use under the personnel initiative of Justice M M Kumar, Chief Justice of J&K High Court.
The relief material in the shape of eatables, clothes including woolens, shawls, jackets and blankets etc were distributed amongst the affected people by judicial officers of district Udhampur under the overall supervision of Principal District and Session Judge Udhampur, R K Watel. The relief material was distributed at village, Panjar, Pathi, Sui-Sambal, Jaganoo, Doob Dooba Basti Jakhani of Tehsil Udhampur by the Chief Judicial Magistrate and district Mobile Magistrate Traffic Udhampur.
In the Chenani tehsil the relief material was distributed under the supervision of Munsiff Chenani amongst the affected people of village Chasku, Dharamthal, Mada, Chalyar, Chirdi and Ghawal.
Similarly in tehsil Ramnagar relief material was distributed under the supervision of Sub judge Ramnagar among the effected people of village Chatrari, Amroh, and Kulawanta and in Tehsil Majalta relief material was distributed under the supervision of Munsiff Majalta among the effected people of village Majalta, Katheel, Peoni, Bharnara, Plater, Thial, Jagwal, Chaiani, Palnoo, Thalora Manwal, Bhati Barigarh and Battal Morh.
