JAMMU, Sept 28: Two women were injured in a clash with some unknown persons near Director Office, CAPD, at Jammu-Akhnoor Road.
According to a police spokesperson, some people from Chouala area in RS Pura today went to Director Office, CAPD Jammu, regarding complaint of non-supply of ration by the concerned dealer, who also reached there along with his supporters and after heated exchanges between both groups a clash broke out between them.
In the clash two women namely Kalo Devi (50) wife of Shanti Lal and Jyoti Devi (27) wife of Mohinder Lal, both residents of Chouala in RS Pura, received minor injuries and were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
