JAMMU, Nov 12: The dead bodies of two unidentified persons were recovered from two separate areas in city outskirts.
According to a police official, the dead body of unknown man of age about 40-45 years was recovered this evening from a mini-canal near Vijay Nagar in Gole Gujral Camp and was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for identification/postmortem. In this connection, police had initiated inquest proceedings.
He further informed that the body of an unknown man of age about 35 years was also recovered yesterday from Akhnoor Bus Stand near Puli temple. He said that the deceased is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weatish in colour and has a light black mole below his right eye.
The official said that the deceased was wearing a white shirt, black trouser and a sweat-shirt of blue-grey colour. “The dead bodies were shifted to mortuary room of GMCH Jammu for identification/postmortem”, he said, adding, the concerned police has initiated inquest proceedings in the case.
