JAMMU, Aug 28: Bishnah Police arrested two thieves and recovered stolen items from their possession.
As per police sources, yesterday a complaint was lodged at Police Station Bishnah by a person namely Bunty Kumar, son of Ramesh Lal of Harsa Dabber stating that some unidentified persons entered into his shop and decamped with 2 LPG cylinders and Rs 600 cash.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 141/2022 under sections 454 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Vikram Sharma was constituted under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta.
After putting in strenuous efforts, the police team finally nabbed two thieves, who were identified as Parwinder Singh, son of Jasbir Singh and Rohit Kumar, son of late Jagar Ram, both residents of Harsa Dabber Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
On their disclosure, police team recovered the stolen items near graveyard at Village Deoli, Tehsil Bishnah.
Further investigation is going on to ascertain their involvement in other cases.
