JAMMU, Dec 5: Two persons were arrested today with ‘charas’ by Kanachak police.
“On specific input, a police team of police station Kanachak today arrested two persons namely Mohd Tahil son of Hamid Ullah of Ambaran, Akhnoor (at present living in Mishriwala) and Vinod Kumar alias Golu son of Krishan Singh of Ambaran (Akhnoor) from Pakhiyan, Mishriwala when the former was selling about 1.150 kg of charas to the latter,” a police official said.
He said the consignment was seized on the spot and vehicles (Bolero load carrier with registration number JK02CF-9369 and i20 car with registration number JK02CC-6143) of both the accused that were on the spot, were also seized by the police team.
“A case in this connection has been registered at police station Kanachak and further investigation initiated,” the official added.
