Two more books by Shivdev Singh Susheel released

JAMMU, July 16: Two wonderful books, one poetry collection ‘Cipher Thama Cipher Takar’ and one children’s story book ‘Kukkadi Te Pari’ written by eminent poet, author, novelist Shivdev Singh Susheel were today released by president Duggar Manch, Mohan Singh.
These were 18th and 19th books respectively by the versatile Dogri writer.
The poetry book has range of emotions that spark the nostalgia as well as gives new definitions to life, its journey, the relationships that are there in our society. The children’s story book accomplishes and inculcates children with simple things in simpler form of stories in local language which is easy to understand.
Speaking on the occasion Susheel said “Poetry consists of varied experiences of day-to-day life of a common man in a modern world which gives strength to expressions of different kinds.”
Ex-Additional Secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Dr. Gian Singh, eminent poet, author and broadcaster, Vijay Verma, Dogri scholar, translator and broadcaster, Dr. Jitender Singh, Dogri enthusiast ex-senior Manager J&K Bank, Sukhdev Gautam, Translator and Broadcaster, Natya Pal Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
