Two held with intoxicants

JAMMU, Oct 26: Narwal police today arrested two persons with intoxicants.
“A police party from police post Narwal while on checking duty intercepted one car bearing registration number DL6CJ-8886 and on checking of the car, recovered around 5.5 kg of Corex and around 650 Parvan Spas capsules from the driver and co-driver,” a police official said.
He said the accused have been identified as Saqib Malik (driver) son of Nissar Ahmed Malik and Mehraj Ahmed (co-driver) son of Abdul Latief Sheikh, both residents of Bhaderwah. “In this regard, a case FIR number 275/19 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS has been registered at police station Bahu Fort and investigation started while both the accused were arrested and intoxicants seized,” the official added.
The arrest and recovery was made by a police team headed by Sub Inspector Khyatiman Khajuria, Incharge, police post Narwal under the supervision of SHO, police station Bahu Fort, Inspector Bishnesh Sharma.
